PREPHAUS Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PREPHAUS handles information in connection with its websites, applications, household resilience tools, Community features, products, subscriptions, and related services.
Effective and last updated September 4, 2026
PREPHAUS, INC. respects privacy and is committed to protecting information relating to users, households, and properties. The Policy covers how PREPHAUS collects, uses, stores, derives, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with the Services and should be read together with the Terms of Service.
PREPHAUS is primarily designed for users in the United States. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in the complete Privacy Policy.
Privacy principles for household preparedness
Information about where a person lives, what equipment a household owns, what capabilities a home lacks, and how prepared a household may be can create privacy and security concerns if mishandled. Household preparedness information is therefore private by default and is not automatically public.
Community users decide what they make visible. Community profiles are designed to use state-level location rather than exact household location, and joining Community does not make a private household profile public. PREPHAUS describes this approach as: share the lesson, not your location.
Information used to provide resilience tools
Depending on how the Services are used, information can include account preferences, property and household details, preparedness goals, assessment responses, equipment and capabilities, saved plans, completed actions, maintenance activity, and communications with PREPHAUS.
PREPHAUS may convert an address into coordinates or other geographic identifiers to obtain property-specific hazard and resilience information. It may also derive Resilience Scores, pillar and duration-specific scores, gaps, capability estimates, hazard relevance, maintenance recommendations, and personalized action priorities.
Individualized resilience information is treated as private account information unless a user intentionally shares it through Community or another feature. A complete household equipment inventory is private by default unless selected information is intentionally shared.
